The Recruitment Coordinator’s role is to support the Recruitment Manager in maintaining full responsibility for all recruitment processes regarding the recruitment of freelancers, service providers, external staff or sub-contractors. These are translators and transcribers for a variety of language combinations.
Developing new ways of seeking freelancers and putting them through the Recruitment process, managing this at all times.
Write Content for job adverts and advertise new vacancies.
Proactively supply resources for new projects.
Update database and distribution list regularly.
Establish and manage positive impressions and relationships with potential service providers as a representative of the company.
Receive and review new applicants.
Oversee, reinforce and ensure accuracy of the proofreading and feedback system following ISO Accreditation standards.
Send test files, verify returned work according to quality assurance policy and provide candidates with constructive feedback.
Communicate with freelancers swiftly and in an appropriate, friendly and professional manner.
Communicate with freelancers to gain updates on availability and keep the Projects Team updated on this.
Ensure all essential documentation is in place.
Contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns as part of the Recruitment team
Building relationships with Universities that offer Language/Translation qualification.
Help to organise events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
Managing ongoing social media campaigns for recruitment.
Skills and experience required:
Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines effectively.
Know recruitment procedures and legislation
Awareness of importance of Confidentiality and Data Protection Acts
Accountable and target driven with excellent communication skills.
Ability to recognise potential on applicants and work with them to improve their skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Final-year university student or graduate in a relevant discipline.
An interest in Recruitment/Marketing/languages/the translation industry.
