We are a fast-growing Translation company with the aim of providing high standards of transcription translation and interpreting, going that extra mile for our clients. We are based in Kirkham, Lancashire in the heart of the North West, just a short walk from Kirkham train station, 10 minutes from Preston station and 40 minutes from Manchester and Liverpool. We have recently won the Queens Award for Enterprise which provides a very exciting opportunity for the business to showcase its work to new audiences.
The role will require the candidate to assist with the set-up and management of a new Transcreation Department within Language Insight.
The first step of the role is to look at our marketing and brand positioning:
Look at current brochures and arrange re-design where necessary with the design team
Check through the website and update any content or messages appropriately
Benchmark our service across industries to compare market position, offering and pricing structure
Discuss content and blog ideas with the marketing team
Look for networking opportunities including industry relevant events
Increase our audience across platforms such as LinkedIn with relevant industry news and topics
Work with our Recruitment Department to find suitable freelancers
Help with the above and screen CVs, provide guidance to the Recruitment Department as to what skillsets we are looking for
Help negotiate rates or set parameters for what we are willing to pay freelancers
If needed, help on-board freelancers by assisting in collecting CVs, Service Agreements and other information.

Pitch our services by email, phone conference or face to face meeting if required
Networking if required
Manage the full project management cycle from the onboarding stage
Close jobs, ensure timely invoicing
Managing and Building a Team
Help with the recruitment process, advertising, writing job specs, looking through applications for Project Managers and in-house Translators
Assist with the interview process and, if necessary, sit in on interviews/take notes
Onboard new staff via the induction process
Mentor and train staff
Implement workflows where necessary and create and document any new processes
Appraisals and one to one reviews
ISO and Compliance
Ensure all processes are in-line with our ISO standards
Assist with any audits on a monthly or quarterly basis where applicable
