Get to know us a little better – here is our story

We are a world‑leading provider of language services including transcription, translation, and interpreting.

We started out as Transcription Global, a digital transcription service located in the north of England back in 2008. Our reputation quickly grew within the industry and in 2013 we re‑branded as Language Insight to reflect the full range of language services we now offer to our clients.

We provide sector‑specific services to a wide range of industries including security, medical, manufacturing, legal and financial.

Trusted by industry leaders across the globe, we provide unparalleled levels of security, quality, and communication to all of our clients.

With established offices in New York, London and headquarters in the north‑west of England, we are internationally accredited to ISO 9001 for our quality management systems and ISO 27001 for our information security management systems.

Our future plans include opening an office in Asia and more offices in Europe. We believe that by immersing ourselves directly in the market in which we operate, we can better understand and serve our clients.

We know that even in today’s digital era of Skype and email, being able to walk into a Language Insight office and speak to us face‑to‑face helps to build and strengthen our collaboration with you, our partners.


Transcription Global was established, originally as a specialist transcription partner. With an office based in Preston, Lancashire, we developed a wide range of local and international clients. Our reputation quickly grew within the industry.


We expanded our services to include translation and interpreting in order to meet the needs of our clients. We also rebranded, changing the company name to Language Insight to reflect the language options we were now offering.


We opened our office in London which became the hub for our translation and quality assurance teams. Additionally, this coincided with the launch of our online technical translation services.


After 9 successful years spent in our Preston office, it was time to expand. With plans to grow our existing teams to make way for new departments, a larger space was needed. In March, we moved into our larger, custom‑built office space in Kirkham.


The company developed further with the opening of an office in central New York in October, within close proximity of our existing US client base. This office space gives us the foundations to expand our services further within the US market.


We never stop pushing forward. Our future growth plan focuses on continued growth of internal departments and further company expansion into new markets, sectors and locations, with more offices in Europe and Asia in the pipeline.
